Florida Adventure - Day 1, TRAVEL DAY
Thursday: Sam was up at 5AM (first one!) and didn't get to bed until 10PM (no naps in van for him!) but other than that, and a few "quarrels" the trip went fine. We had a nice hotel waiting (thanks Grandpa John!) We left in Grand Rapids at 6:20am and arrived in Byron Georgia at 8:40PM. I think the boys most enjoyed their "presents" that were given every few hours. Thanks Nana! Thanks Grandpa John- we loved the numbers game!

How fun! You cannot underestimate a good "road trip". Great memories from my childhood. Kelly and I are planning on one with the kids sometime too.

Glad it went well so far! I hope that the rest of the drive is smooth as well! Our through-the-night drive went great and Florida is sunny and gorgeous today! :)
