The Chair

Our rocking chair was given to Sam Christmas 2004. He loved it, he kept his hand on it even as other gifts were given to him.




That New Years, all the other kids that came to visit had to give it a try too.




I remember, shortly after Josh was born, Sam enjoyed sitting in it and reading books. Sometimes he read to me and Josh, sometimes he just looked at the photos.



Before long, it was Josh who loved to rock in the chair. Sometimes, it upset Sam because he wanted to rock too! Now, I see the same thing with Josh and Zeke. Zeke LOVES that chair and gets so upset when Josh tries to rock in it!



Every boy had his one year photo session taken with the chair. Sam's photos are not digital, but below are Zeke's one year and Josh's one year.




As I mentioned, Zeke loves the chair! Oh he rocks and rocks, and yes he has fallen out of it a few times too! He thinks it is HIS chair and throws a fit when anyone else sits in it. What a great chair. I hope it keeps giving joy to every child that rocks in it!
